FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has issued a strong warning to an unnamed lawmaker who criticized his achievements during the inauguration of the Phase I construction of the Mabushi Bus Terminal in Abuja.

Wike expressed displeasure over statements he heard on Arise TV, where the legislator allegedly denounced the progress made in the FCT, particularly highlighting deficiencies in schools and healthcare facilities.

Addressing the lawmaker directly, Wike challenged their legislative record, questioning the number of bills sponsored to improve education and health sectors.

He defiantly stated that if the lawmaker contested in Abuja in 2027, they would not succeed, emphasizing that past outcomes would not repeat.
