Pere Egbi clarifies Sharon Ooja’s husband’s marital history

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has clarified the marital history of actress Sharon Ooja’s husband.

Pere stated that a cousin of Ooja’s husband, Ugo Nwoke, who was rumoured to have been married three times previously, has confirmed to him that Nwoke was only married once.

Pere made this statement while responding to a viral video featuring a woman who claimed to be a family friend of Ooja’s husband, stating that he only had one previous marriage.

Pere shared the video on his X account, explaining that Ooja’s husband’s cousin, who is a friend of his, verified this information to him.

He criticized blogs for spreading unverified negative news, stating the need for authenticity in reporting.

“There’s nothing wrong with a divorcee remarrying,” Pere added.

“Her husband’s cousin is a very good friend of mine in Dallas. It’s funny how people believe everything they read because they are gullible. And it’s amazing how blogs focus on negative stories without verifying their accuracy. They just spread any story without caring about its authenticity.”

Pere continued, “Her husband’s cousin confirmed to me that he was only married once. And there’s nothing wrong with being married once.”

Shortly after Ooja’s traditional wedding with Ugo Nwoke in Abuja, the StellaDimokorkus blog claimed that Nwoke had been married three times before, but all those marriages had ended in divorce.
