Firefighters and security agencies are currently battling to put out a raging inferno that engulfed a fuel tanker at Mainland Oil and Gas filling station, along the Dutse junction along Kubwa Expressway, Abuja.
The fuel tanker was said to be waiting to discharge its product before it caught fire for yet- to- be- explained reason.
The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m on Thursday.
A resident, who pleaded anonymity, said that he was about the queue in the filling station to buy fuel when someone screamed that a tanker that was yet to offload fuel was on fire.
However, firefighters and security agencies have intensified efforts to put out the fire and ensure the protection of lives and property, adding that there was no casualty. (NAN)
