Trump was rushed off stage after loud bangs were heard and he fell to the ground at the start of a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday night.

President Joe Biden has responded to a Saturday shooting at a Donald Trump rally that left the former president scrambling for safety and at least one spectator as well as the shooter dead.

He said he had been briefed on the shooting at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania, saying he was grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well.

“I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety.

“There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it,” Biden said.

Trump was rushed off stage after loud bangs were heard and he fell to the ground at the start of a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday night.

The former president was then taken to a vehicle and evacuated from the scene. The incident took place moments after he took the stage at the rally.
