Nollywood star Nkechi Blessing Sunday is overjoyed as singer Davido and his uncle, Governor Adeleke, give her a new name.
The actress was a guest at B-Red’s birthday party, Davido’s cousin, on Tuesday night.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Nkechi is seen with Davido, who calls her Nkechi Adeleke. Governor Adeleke, standing beside him, agreed with the name change.
“Breaking News! @davido and his excellency @aadeleke_01 officially changed my name to Nkechi Adeleke. We outside for @bredhkn.”
In another post, Nkechi mentioned that Governor Adeleke recognized her from her past controversies. She reassured him that she has changed and no longer seeks trouble. Nkechi added that if anyone insults her, she will ignore them, celebrating her personal growth.
“His excellency said, ‘Who doesn’t know you?’ But I am no longer the person I used to be. I have changed. When was the last time I caused trouble here?
