NABTEB launches digital certificate platform

The National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB), on Monday launched its Digital Certificate Platform.

NABTEB Registrar, Prof Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, ,said it would make issuance and collection of certificate by graduating student stress-free and life much easier to all concerned stakeholders of examination body within and outside Nigeria.

She said candidates would only need to make request,  payment and, thereafter, generate and download their certificates.

“As we flag-off the NABTEB digital platform today, candidates across the globe can go to the Internet and have access to their certificates by visiting the NDCP platform.

“Also, employers of labour, tertiary education institutions now have easy access to verify the authenticity of certificates presented by their employees or applicants.

“The NABTEB Digital Certificate platform is a technologically enforced platform that makes it easy and faster for candidates to get access to their certificates through web devices, including mobile phones,” she said.

“This will undeniably go a long way to eliminate the problem of having backlog of outstanding certificates,” she said.

The NABTEB boss commended the Federal Ministry of Education and Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, for giving the enabling environment and supporting NABTEB to develop the perform effectively.
