Peter Obi speaks on decision of Okonkwo to withdraw support for him

Peter Obi the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate has reacted to the decision of of Nollywood actor and lawyer, and the spokesperson for his campaign organisation, Kenneth Okonkwo to withdraw his support for him.

Okonkwo had in a long statement he released on Sunday indicated that he is withdrawing his support for Peter Obi over failure of the Anambra State Governor to take full charge of Labour Party.

The Nollywood actor accused Peter Obi of being a weakling who cannot win presidential election because of his approach to politics.

Moses Paul in a post on his X handle said he called Peter Obi to ask him his reaction to the withdrawal of support for Obi following the statement released by Okonkwo.

He said he expressed his worries and concerns about the departure of Okonkwo during his discussion with Peter Obi.

According to him, Obi calmly responded, saying, “Mo, Kenneth, Balami, and others remain my beloved younger brothers, who, in due time, will realize the virtues of humility and patience in trying to do things in a peaceful manner.
