American hip-hop star, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar popularly known as Cardi B has announced that she’s expecting her third child.
The 31-year-old hip-hop star shared the news on Instagram on Thursday one day after she filed for a divorce from her husband of six years, Offset, 32.
Sharing her baby bump, Cardi B wrote: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!”
A representative of Cardi B confirmed that the Grammy-winning rapper is seeking primary custody of their children, son Wave Set, 2, and daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, in the divorce filing, according to American outlet, People.
Cardi B and Offset secretly married in 2017 and have since welcomed two children together.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in September 2020 but the two got back together in October.
In June 2023, Cardi B publicly blasted Offset after he claimed she cheated on him.
Offset also accused Cardi B of infidelity in the past.
