Akeem Akanni Abiodun joins Kwara United from Sporting Lagos

Kwara United have officially secured the signing of 19-year-old promising central midfielder Akeem Akanni Abiodun from Sporting Lagos.

The talented youngster, who rose through the ranks at Sporting Lagos U-19 before earning promotion to the senior team, has now taken the next big step in his career by joining the Ilorin-based side.

Born on March 1, 2005, Akeem is regarded as one of the most technically gifted midfielders of his age group, known for his composure on the ball, vision, and work rate in the heart of midfield.

His development at Sporting Lagos saw him stand out among his peers, earning plaudits for his maturity and consistency on the pitch.

Reacting to his move, an excited Abiodun shared his aspirations with the Kwara United media team.
