Naira Abuse: Bobrisky regains freedom (Video)

Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, after spending six months in incarceration for abusing the naira by spraying it at a party.

The social media influencer and socialite regained his freedom on August 5, 2024.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on April 5 secured the conviction of Bobrisky. He was charged on four counts bordering on naira abuse.

He pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court, Lagos.

Following his release, Bobrisky was seen in video with friends, including popular Nollywood actress, Eniola Ajao vibing to Mohbad’s and Chike’s Egwu song.

His friends were quoted saying, ‘we are out of prison. Congratulations Bobrisky.”
