Angry Nigerians have taken to the streets since Thursday, 1st of August to protest against hunger and poor governance across the country.
The 10 days nationwide protests tagged #EndBadGovernance, sparked a heated debate on social media, with many criticizing celebrities for not using their platforms to support the movement.
Amid the ongoing clashes between celebrities and netizens’ who question their commitment to advocating for social change, Simi voiced her solidarity with the protesters.
In a now viral tweet, she wrote; “I will ALWAYS stand with my people #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria.”
