Nigeria’s Onwuzurike Udodi Chudi has qualified for the semi-finals of the 200m Repechage at the ongoing Olympic games in Paris, France.
Running in heat one, Onwuzurike hit the finishing line at 20.51 seconds to emerge winner of the heat and the sole qualifier.
Pettorossi Diego Aldo of Italy came second in a time of 20.53 seconds while Mumenthaler Timothe came third in a time of 20.67 seconds.

He competed collegiately for Stanford University and is an alumnus of Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
