In response to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent address on protests and economic reforms, leaders of the Qoudriyyah Movement in Lagos State have called for patience from Nigerians while demanding accountability for promised economic recovery and infrastructure development.

The Grand Khaleefah of the Qoudriyyah Movement in Lagos State, Sheikh Muhammad Soliu Babaniji Amosa, stressed the importance of patience during challenging times. Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on August 5, 2024, Sheikh Amosa acknowledged Nigeria’s economic struggles but expressed optimism about future improvements.

He urged President Tinubu to ensure ministers translate promises into tangible outcomes, highlighting grievances such as hunger, inflation, high fuel prices, and inadequate wages. Sheikh Amosa emphasized urgent reforms, including functional refineries, lower electricity tariffs, and constitutional restructuring.

The Chairman of Lagos Qoudriyyah, Khaleefah Noheem Morayo Akiolu, echoed calls for government prioritization amidst economic hardships, emphasizing the role of prayer in national success.
