Nigerian comedian Oluseyi Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, has responded to allegations of being involved in a cult.
A Twitter user with the handle “Cult Wahala Naija” posted a video of Seyi Law at a party, stating that he is a high-ranking member of the Eiye cult and suggesting that many people in the SouthWest region are involved with the group.
The user tweeted, “So @seyilaw1 is a supreme Eiye member. Almost everyone in the SouthWest is Eiye.”
In response, Seyi Law expressed concern that if he takes legal action against the accuser, it might be perceived as oppression, saying,
“I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
