Emerging Nigerian artiste Logos Olori has disclosed that he continues to earn royalties for composing Davido’s popular track, “Unavailable.”
During a recent interview with Hiptv, Olori, who confirmed his role in writing the song, explained that both Peruzzi and Davido made adjustments to better align the song with their personal styles.
Olori stated further that Peruzzi modified the verse to add a different vibe, while Davido preferred a verse that fit his own story, although the core concept of the song remained unchanged.
When asked about his ongoing royalties, Olori confirmed that he is still receiving payments from Davido, noting,
“The tweaking was when it came to the verse. And Peruzzi came in and wrote a bad vibe for the verse. You know I came in with my own vibes and I was telling my story but David wanted his own story. So that was the tweaking of the verse, but the whole idea of the song is still the same.
“Of course I still get royalties. You know everything about Davido is professional.”
