Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has expressed his grief over the death of his fellow crossdresser, Area Mama.
The rising star known as ‘Abuja Area Mama’ was discovered dead in the Banex area of Wuse II, Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday.
Videos circulating online showed Area Mama lying motionless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway earlier that morning.
Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, confirmed the discovery and stated that Commissioner of Police Benneth Igweh has ordered a thorough and confidential investigation into the incident.
James Brown took to his Instagram story to mourn Area Mama, acknowledging that despite never having met him, he reflected on the nature of judgment among sinners.
“RIP. I didn’t get to meet him. Sinners mad at sinners cos they sin differently,” he wrote.
