Nigeria’s last medal hopeful, Hannah Amuchechi Reuben has crashed out of the 76kg Women’s Freestyle Wrestling at the ongoing Paris Olympics.
Reuben crashed out in the quarter-finals of the 76kg Women’s Freestyle Wrestling on Saturday.
She lost to 2-5 to Davaanasan Amar Enkh of Mongolia and failed to reach the semi-finals.
All attention turned to Hannah Reuben after Nigeria’s medal hopeful, Tobi Amusan failed to reach the final of the Women’s 100m Hurdles on Friday. She placed third and failed to qualify as one of the two best losers.
Team Nigeria has a woeful performance at the Paris Olympics without a medal to show for it.
