Oladips calls out Wizkid of lyric theft in new song

Nigerian rapper Oladips has accused Grammy-winning singer Wizkid of lyrics theft.

Oladips claims that Wizkid incorporated lyrics from his song ‘Ajala Travel remix’ into his recent collaboration with Asake, ‘MMS.’

Oladips posted screenshots of the lyrics from both songs on his Instagram account.

When a fan suggested that sampling is “normal,” he insisted it should only be done with permission.

He wrote, “Sampling is acceptable only if you acknowledge the source!
