'Paul Okoye's wife married for money, not love' - Esther Nwachukwu claims

Actress Esther Nwachukwu has stirred controversy with her statements about Paul Okoye’s song “Reason with Me” and his marriage to Ivy Ifeoma.

In an appearance on the “Honest Bunch” podcast with Nedu Wazobia and his crew, Nwachukwu claimed that Ivy Ifeoma married Paul Okoye not out of love, but for financial reasons.

She also suggested that Okoye’s song was inspired by dissatisfaction in their relationship.

Nwachukwu also stated that modern marriages are often financially motivated rather than based on genuine love and even controversially endorsed the idea of marrying a sex worker, suggesting they have a more realistic view of relationships.

In her words; “Nobody marries for love in this Generation again, Ifeoma Married Rude Boy for his money, Paul Rudeboy Okoye is not good in the other room, Nedu has Big Anaconda, Husband Material has small Carrot.”
