The United States of America (USA) has won gold medals in the Men and Women’s 4 x 400m relay at the Paris Olympics.
In the Women’s 4 x 400m relay final, the USA’s quartet of Shamier Little, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas and Alexis Holmes stormed to gold in an American Record time of 3:15:27.
Netherlands won the silver medal in a National Record time of 3:19.50, while Great Britain won the bronze medal in a National Record time of 3:19.72.
In the Men’s 4 x 400m relay final, the USA stormed to gold in an Olympic Record time of 2:54.43, while Botswana won the silver medal in an Area Record time of 2:54.53.
Great Britain won the bronze medal in an Area Record time of 2:55.83.
