Fubara submits five Commissioner nominees to Rivers Assembly for screening

Rivers State House of Assembly, under the speakership of Victor Oko Jumbo, has invited five persons for screening and confirmation as Commissioner nominees.
This is sequel to request by Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Those invited as commissioner nominees are: Mr Ilamu Arugu, Dr. Rowland Obed Whyte, Hon. Dr Sam Anya, Hon. Samuel Eyiba, and Sir Austin Emeka Nnadozie.
The screening and confirmation will be on Tuesday, 13th August, 2024, at 10:00am prompt at Hallowed Chamber, Rivers State House of Assembly Auditorium, Admin Block, Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.
According to the House, the nominees were to come along with twelve (12) sets of their curriculum vitae (CV) and the originals and photocopies of their credentials.
