“How I nearly lost my life to drug addiction” – Big Brother Naija’s Handi

Handi, a contestant on Big Brother Naija Season 9, has shared that she nearly lost her life due to drug addiction.

She disclosed this during the Aquafina Padi of Life task on Tuesday night.

Handi expressed her gratitude to her twin sister, Wanni, for her strong support during her toughest times.

She acknowledged, “You have always ensured my well-being throughout everything in this house. Even when I was struggling with drug addiction and was on the brink of losing my life, you stood by me every step of the way.

“You never left my side, and now, look at me—I’m healthy and back to being myself. You made sure nothing or no one came between us, even when someone tried to play us both.

“My loyal padi, you would always tell me if someone was trying to deceive us. You know every part of me, both the good and the bad, and you never judged me.

“Thank you for always being there for me, even when I felt inadequate.”
