Nigerian actress Jemima Osunde has stirred conversation online after revealing her desire to undergo toe surgery.
Osunde stated that her desire for surgery is not for a typical cosmetic procedure like a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), but to change the appearance of her toes.
In a social media post, the 28-year-old actress expressed her dissatisfaction with how her toes look, stating that she wants them to appear more “demure.”
“Forget BBLs. I need surgery to make my toes look more ‘demure,’” Osunde shared with her followers.
The consideration quickly stirred different responses from fans and followers, many of whom urged the actress to reconsider.
They advised her to embrace her natural appearance and warned against the huge risks of cosmetic surgery.
Osunde first gained prominence for her role as Leila in the popular television series Shuga.
Her performance in the film The Delivery Boy earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 15th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
