Punishment looms for saboteurs as PDP inaugurates disciplinary committee

In a significant move to strengthen its internal mechanisms, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated a disciplinary committee that will address misconduct and indiscipline in the party.

The committee was inaugurated at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on 21st of August, 2024.

The Disciplinary Committee, chaired by High Chief Tom Ikimi, will focus on addressing misconduct and indiscipline within the party, while promoting accountability, fairness, and adherence to the party’s ethics and values.

Meanwhile, the PDP also inaugurated a reconciliation committee.

The reconciliation committee will be chaired by the former Governor of Osun State, Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

The Oyinlola-led committee is expected to work with other organs of the party to resolve all internal conflicts in the party, foster harmony among Party members and promote party cohesion.
