Corps Commander Cyril Zango Mathew has been appointed as Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The new Sector Commander took over from his predecessor, Corps Commander Paul Okpe, who retired after attaining the age of 60.
Until his appointment, Matthew was the Head of Plants (HOP) NVTS Plants Lagos.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History from the University of Jos and has attended several professional courses, trainings, workshops to boost his career progression.
He also served in different capacities and has held several strategic positions in the Corps.
Okpe while handing over to Matthew, charged the officers and men of the Sector to extend the support given to him to the new Commander.
On his part, the new Sector Commander solicited the support and cooperation of the officers to enable him succeed in reducing accident rate in the State.
