Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show star Neo Akpofure has revealed that he was once a taxi driver before achieving fame.
In a recent post on his official X account, Neo shared a throwback photo that has stirred discussion online.
The image, taken five years ago, features Neo alongside popular musician MC Galaxy. At the time, Neo was working as a Bolt driver in Calabar.
The throwback captures a moment when he had the chance to transport MC Galaxy and his associate, who were in search of bush meat and palm wine from a local spot called Atimbo.
Neo reminisced about the memorable evening, describing it as a transforming moment that greatly impacted his perspective on life.
“5 years ago today, I was still driving a bolt in Calabar when I picked up MC Galaxy and his associate. He was craving bush meat and palm wine from somewhere called Atimbo. We enjoyed the meat and palm wine together before dropping them off at the airport,” Neo recounted. “Fast forward to today, I look back and see how far I have come. If I had given up on my dreams then, na me for fuck up.”
Neo Akpofure gained widespread recognition in 2020 after participating in the BBNaija reality show. Since his departure from the show, he has established a successful career as an actor, model, and social media influencer.
