Popular music video director TG Omori has reassured fans of his recovery after a failed kidney transplant.
Sharing a photo from his hospital bed with an oxygen mask, Omori captioned the image, “Will be up soon. I promise!”
The post quickly drew an outpouring of support from fans, followers, and celebrities.
Superstar singer Davido commented, “You’re up already! IJN,” while Fireboy DML added, “Yes! God is with you, soldier.”
Teni, another prominent musician, expressed her love and support, writing, “Love you mahn! UP ALREADY IJN.”
Omori previously revealed that his only brother had donated a kidney to him after his own kidneys failed following his decision to quit smoking.
Despite undergoing three surgeries, Omori’s body rejected the transplant, leaving him to face another challenging health battle.
In a deeply personal post, he shared, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Lagos. Pray for me.”
The Instagram post sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with many offering prayers and well wishes.
“Stay strong. God’s healing to you and your brother,” one user wrote.
