Onyeka Onwenu for burial Friday

The late Nigerian music legend, Onyeka Onwenu will be buried on Friday.

The 72-year-old was confirmed dead on July 30, 2024, at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja, after  she collapsed at an event held in honour of Dr Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.

According to her family, the funeral service for Onwenu who is survived by two sons, will hold at the Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju.

She will afterwards be privately buried at a vault in Ikoyi.
