Lagos arrest nine over open defaecation

Nine persons have been arrested by the officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps over open defecation in the Berger area of the state.

Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this on Saturday.

Writing on X, Wahab stated: “Nine individuals were arrested for open urination and defecation at Berger last night.”

The Commissioner had also said Lagos officials arrested  17 individuals ob  Thursday night at Berger for open urination, defecation, and not using the pedestrian bridge.
