The visitors broke the deadlock in the 35th minute when Luis Diaz nodded home a pinpoint cross from Mohamed Salah, sending the ball into the left side of the net with clinical precision.

Manchester United had a chance to respond five minutes later when Noussair Mazraoui fired a shot from the edge of the box toward the bottom right corner.

However, Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson, was quick to react and made a crucial save.

Just before halftime, Diaz doubled Liverpool’s lead, securing his brace. Set up by Salah once again, Diaz found space in the box and coolly slotted the ball into the bottom right corner.

In the 52nd minute, Joshua Zirkzee tested Alisson with a powerful strike from outside the box, aiming for the bottom right corner, but the Brazilian goalkeeper was equal to the task, making another sharp save.

Liverpool sealed the win in the 56th minute with a third goal. Salah, already with two assists to his name, received a precise pass from Dominik Szoboszlai. He controlled the ball expertly and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the bottom right corner from the edge of the box.

Manchester United continued to press for a goal, and in the 64th minute, Zirkzee attempted to convert a lofted cross with a header aimed at the center of the goal.

However, Alisson once again displayed his exceptional reflexes, making a brilliant save to deny United any chance of a comeback.
