Organisers of the Big Brother Naija reality show have unpaired the ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates.

The housemates were unpaired shortly after the live show on Sunday.

14 pairs on the show, which began on July 28 with 28 housemates.

Biggie, during the unpairing ceremony on Sunday, said each housemate would compete for the grand prize alone.

“The crutches are hereby removed. You will continue their journey as solo players in the No Loose Guard house,” he added.

According to the latest adjustments, there will be one head of house (HOH) and the automatic immunity will cover just the HOH.

Evictions will also be done individually.

This is not the first twist the organisers of the reality TV show will be bringing to the season.

The custodian challenge and HOH ballot were earlier scrapped.

The custodian challenge which was held after Sunday’s eviction was introduced at the beginning of the show.

Housemates who won the challenge were granted immunity for the week and given the power to nominate for possible eviction.

The heads of the house (HoH) for the week were decided through balloting. However, winning the title did not grant immunity.

However, with the adjustments, the pairs now nominate each other for eviction while viewers have the ultimate power to evict by voting.

The winners of the HoH challenge also have automatic immunity.

This year’s BBNaija premiered on July 28 with the unveiling of 28 housemates paired up in a team of 14. Few housemates have been evicted.

The show will run for 71 days and end on October 6.

The grand prize for this season is a spectacular N100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.
