Italian Serie A, Napoli FC have reached an agreement withTurkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray to sign Victor Osimhen on a one-year loan deal.

Osimhen’s future remained uncertain after he was unable to complete a transfer deal to Chelsea just before the transfer window in England closed. He subsequently missed out on a move to Saudi Arabian team, Al-Hilal.

Manager Antonio Conte also hinted that the striker would not be reintegrated back to the squad because he was the one who originally requested an exit, while the club brought in Romelu Lukaku as a direct replacement for Osimhen.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli  agreed to loan Osimhen to Galatasaray.

The former Serie A champions would likely have to share a large part of his €10m per season salary. An alternative would be for Galatasaray to cover the wages, but not pay anything for the loan fee.

Football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, “Napoli have accepted a straight loan proposal but with no option to buy, and Galatasaray to cover about £10m of his salary.”

It now remains to be seen if Osimhen would give the green light to the move. The Turkish transfer window is open until September 13.
