A former officer with the Metropolitan Police, Adam Merriman, 37, from Bletchley, Milton Keynes, is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court facing multiple charges of sexual offences.
Merriman will appear in court on Wednesday, 4 September, 2024.
Merriman has been charged with sexual assault by touching a child under 13, six counts of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and two counts of sexual activity in the presence of a child.
He is also charged with three counts of making indecent images of a child, three counts of possessing extreme pornographic images and possession of a prohibited image of a child.
According to the Met Police, the court appearance would address these serious allegations, marking a significant legal proceeding against the former police officer.
