Hundreds of fans thronged the airport in Istanbul, Turkey, in the early hours of Tuesday, to welcome Victor Osimhen, who joins Galatasaray on a loan transfer from Napoli.
This could only happen after Italian Serie A, Napoli FC reached an agreement with the Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray to sign Victor Osimhen on a one-year loan deal.
Osimhen appeared excited as fans chanted and sang to welcome him.
The Nigerian striker and reigning CAF African Footballer of the Year, promised to play for the fans to reward their love for him.
He said: “They came here at this time of night (3am). I can already feel them. I will dedicate myself for them every match”.
