Nigerian Paralympian Onyinyechi Mark has made history by winning the country’s first gold medal at the ongoing Paralympic Games.
In a remarkable feat of strength and determination, Mark lifted 150kg to set a new world record, surpassing her previous lift of 147kg, which had already broken the Paralympic record.
Senator John Owan Enoh, Nigeria’s Minister of Sports, took to social media to celebrate her achievement.
