Trump labels Harris a Marxist in fiery debate exchange

Former President Donald Trump launched an attack on Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her of being a Marxist and claiming her father was a Marxist economics professor.

“If she ever got elected, she’d change everything. It would be the end of our country. She’s a Marxist; everybody knows she’s a Marxist. Her father is a Marxist professor in economics, and he taught her well,” Trump stated during the presidential debate.

In response, Harris pointed out that mainstream economists support her economic plan, arguing that it would grow the economy, while Trump’s approach would lead to decline.

At one point in the debate, after Trump incorrectly claimed that China “bought their chips from Taiwan,” Harris visibly reacted, holding her mouth agape and shaking her head in disbelief.

As Trump continued to claim Harris had adopted some of his policies, she shook her head. When Trump labeled her a “Marxist,” she raised her eyebrows and tilted her head back in apparent disbelief.

Later, when Trump referred to her father as a Marxist, Harris brought her hand to her chin, pantomiming deep thought.
