Former President Donald Trump reaffirmed his commitment to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare.

Trump, during the ABC Presidential debate, criticised the current state of Obamacare, calling it “not very good today.”

He emphasised that his team is actively working on developing a replacement. “We’re going to replace it,” he said.

Trump attributed the failure to repeal Obamacare during his presidency to the Democrats, who he claimed were “unanimous” in their opposition and “wouldn’t vote to change it.”

Despite offering few specifics about his plans, Trump assured that he “did the right thing” and will continue to explore “concepts and options,” he stated.

“If we can come up with a plan that will cost our people less money and provide better healthcare than Obamacare, then I would absolutely do it.”

In the meantime, Trump promised to manage the existing system as effectively as possible.
