The Nollywood industry is mourning the loss of Shina Sanyaolu, a prominent producer and director, who has died.
Sanyaolu, a renowned actor in the Yoruba film sector, was known for his huge contributions to the industry.
Bolaji Amusan, a notable member of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced the tragic news via an Instagram post on Wednesday.
In his tribute, Bolaji shared an emotional message alongside a picture of Sanyaolu, writing, “Sleep well Uncle Shina Sanyaolu.”
The cause of Sanyaolu’s death has not been disclosed.
As the news of his death spreads, colleagues and fans within the industry have taken to social media to express their condolences and honour his memory.
