Halilu Sububu, a notorious terrorist allegedly responsible for the killing of a drone pilot, a operative of the Department of State Services, DSS, about two months ago in Zamfara State, North West Nigeria has been eliminated.
Sububu was killed in an operation by the military in Zamfara State where he has been operating on Thursday, according to PRNigeria reported, quoting a reliable defence intelligence source on Friday morning.
He was reportedly killed alongside other notorious terrorists.
“In an aggressive clearance operation yesterday, military troops eliminated the notorious Halilu Sububu and several other bandits in Zamfara last night.
“Troops also recovered deadly firearms and ammunition, together with motorcycles from the terrorists,” the source noted.
Aside the recent killing of the drone pilot and DSS operative, the notorious bandits kingpin was also linked to abduction and killing of many civilians in Zamfara State.
