Morravey reveals how Davido’s marriage sparked her latest love anthem

Nigerian singer Daniella Danielle, popularly known as Morravey, has revealed how Davido’s marriage inspired her upcoming single centred on love.

In an interview with Saturday Punch’s Beats, Morravey shared that love plays a central role in her latest work.

With notable figures like Davido and Yemolee tying the knot, she felt compelled to create a song that resonates with all the lovebirds out there.

Reflecting on her journey in the music industry, Morravey described her experience as positive, crediting her signing to DMW for much of her success.

She acknowledged the support she has received from her male counterparts in the industry, stating that they have been instrumental in her growth and music career.

Offering advice to other female artistes, Morravey encouraged them to remain persistent, work hard, and leverage social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to promote their craft.

“Keep posting, stay consistent, and above all, pray for God’s guidance. I always commit my work to God, and I’m very active in church,” she said.

Morravey also spoke about her creative process, admitting, “I’m an overthinker. I can write a song about this interview, and you wouldn’t even realize it’s based on it. I just love writing.”
