During a recent appearance on the 90s Babies podcast, the Afrobeat artiste shared that, according to his parents, he began singing even before he could speak.
“I started singing before I started talking,” Oxlade explained. “My parents told me that I sang faster than I could catch up with words. That’s where it all began.”
The Lagos-born artiste, who has gained international recognition for his soulful voice and unique sound, reflected on how his early passion for music laid the foundation for his successful career.
Known for hits like Away and Ojuju, Oxlade continues to captivate fans with his talent, which he believes traces back to his childhood.
