#EdoDecides: Okpebholo sweeps Polling Unit with resounding victory over PDP, Labour

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has been declared the winner at his polling unit in the ongoing Edo State gubernatorial election.

Okpebholo, who cast his vote at Ward 1, Unit 3, Uwesan, Esan Central, secured a landslide victory, garnering 102 votes.

His closest rivals, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Asue Ighodalo, and Labour Party (LP) candidate, Olumide Akpata, each managed to score just one vote.

The result underscores Okpebholo’s stronghold in the area as the gubernatorial race continues across the state.
