Former Edo Governor Adams Oshiomhole has dismissed allegations of vote-buying against the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the ongoing governorship election in the state.

Oshiomhole made the remarks while speaking to reporters shortly after casting his vote at Iyamoh, Ward 10 Unit 01, in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo.

“It is laughable when I hear these kinds of allegations. You all have been monitoring the process; have you seen anyone sharing money?” He stated.

He emphasized that the large turnout of voters was due to their desire for good governance, asserting, “During our campaign, people came out to see me not because I wanted to give them something, but because of what I accomplished during my time as governor.”
