NTA gets new leadership: Tinubu names seven Executive Directors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seven new executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

This was announced in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Among the appointees by Tinubu is Ayo Adewuyi, who has been reappointed as Executive Director, News; Bar. Ibrahim Aliyu, a legal practitioner, will serve as Executive Director, Special Duties.

Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha has been named Executive Director, Administration and Training, while Mrs. Apinke Effiong, an expert in financial marketing with treasury management and reporting expertise, is appointed as Executive Director, Finance.

Mrs. Tari Taylaur, an audio-visual creator, producer, and showrunner, has been appointed Executive Director, Programme.

Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza, an integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer, will serve as Executive Director, Engineering, and Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina will take on the role of Executive Director, Marketing.

According to Onanuga, the appointments take immediate effect.

“President Tinubu urges the appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear on the operations of the national broadcast station, particularly in scaling up to meet global digital standards,” Onanuga said.
