Nigerian gospel music minister, Kayode Solomon, popularly known as Kay Wonder, has called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and persevere through the nation’s current difficulties, while working towards collective progress.
Solomon, speaking on the power of love and gratitude to God, emphasized how these virtues can transform lives and bring about positive change, both individually and nationally.
He made these remarks while announcing the 5th edition of the annual gospel concert, Invasion Praise, which is scheduled to take place on October 13, 2024, at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
Themed Fragrance of Grace, the concert is expected to be a powerful evening of worship, prayer, and praise.
Kay Wonder urged Nigerians to participate in the event, seeking divine intervention and inspiration for a brighter future.
“In a state where hope seems elusive and assurances of provision and survival are only imagined, our only source of inspiration, joy, and support is God. He remains the only Anchor on whom we can lean,” he said.
The gospel minister noted that Invasion Praise has grown significantly, attracting positive feedback from participants.
“The concert is not just a gathering of gospel artists; it’s an opportunity to appreciate God for His faithfulness and to anticipate His generous blessings in return,” Solomon explained.
Reflecting on past editions, he shared that the previous four concerts have seen extraordinary testimonies of divine visitations.
“Many attendees experienced miracles such as healings, workplace promotions, blessings of the womb, and the breaking of generational curses. These testimonies continued even after the events.”
Solomon also highlighted the spiritual and personal benefits of attending the concert.
“Worshipers return better energized, fulfilled, and blessed. They receive tangible miracles and are spiritually inclined to contribute to nation-building. It’s a platform where relationships in the body of Christ grow stronger, and the nation benefits as a whole.”
Looking forward to this year’s edition, Kay Wonder expressed excitement for what is to come. “This year’s concert will be a life-changing experience for everyone. We are trusting God for His mighty move in an extraordinary way. Many anointed vessels and minstrels will be present, and the planning of this event is taking on new dimensions.”
The lineup of gospel artists for Invasion Praise Season 5 includes Chigozie Wisdom, Beejay Sax, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Bukola Bekes, Lopex Blessing Abosede, Pastor Samuel Foli, and many more.
