Final showdown: Meet the top three favourites for BBNaija Season 9 grand prize
As the BBNaija “No Loose Guard” season reaches its grand finale, the house remains unusually full. In a first for Africa’s biggest reality show, eight housemates have made it to the final week. Fans anticipated a major clear-out during the Sunday eviction show but were left stunned when Biggie spared most of the house. Only three of the nine housemates up for eviction were eliminated.
Kassia’s eviction from BBNaija could have been the night’s biggest shock, but it was somewhat expected following a notice from her team, urging fans not to vote for her this week to avoid splitting votes with her husband in the finale. Along with Kassia, Topher and Ocee were also evicted, leaving Ozee, Kellyrae, Anita, Nelly, Onyeka, Sooj, Wanni, and Victoria to battle it out as the final eight. But who stands the best chance of winning?
The Outsiders:
Anita, Nelly, Sooj, and Onyeka should be proud of making it this far. Nelly and Anita, known as the “Nalita” pair, scored a significant achievement as the only duo to reach the finale. While their journey has been memorable, it would be a major surprise if any of these four housemates claimed victory on Sunday.
The Dark Horse:
Ozee has the potential to pull off an upset. He’s been a solid performer throughout the season, demonstrating strong leadership skills. With his twin brother, Ocee, now out of the house, Ozee’s fanbase can focus all their votes on him. But the question remains: will he have enough support to beat the top contenders?
The Favourites:
Kellyrae, Victoria, and Wanni are the frontrunners, expected to be the last three standing on the final podium. Wanni has been one of the most vocal housemates, with her relationship with Shaun being the season’s biggest talking point. Her fanbase is loud and energetic, fueling her momentum in the competition. In contrast, Victoria has quietly played her cards, proving to be a sharp tactician. Known for her ability to read the house dynamics, her fanbase, dubbed the “silent battalion,” may not make noise on social media, but they always deliver when it counts. Finally, Kellyrae is seen as this season’s symbol of dedication, strategy, and focus. Alongside his wife, he has garnered significant admiration, which has translated into votes. Many believe the grand prize is already “married” this season.
Barring any surprises, one of these three housemates is likely to walk away with the prize.
How to Vote:
The BBNaija Season 9 finale airs on Sunday, October 6, on DSTV or GOtv and the power to decide the winner is in your hands. Voting channels are open until Friday night. Who will emerge victorious and take home the N100 million worth of prizes? Only time—and your votes—will tell.
