Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Femi Adebayo, has been filled with joy as his 2023 blockbuster film Jagun Jagun garners seven nominations at the prestigious 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
Taking to his Instagram page to share the exciting news, Adebayo revealed that his epic movie has been nominated for several major categories, including: Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Make-up, Achievement in Production Design, Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language, Achievement in Visual Effects, and the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) Award for Best Nigerian Film.
The veteran actor expressed his gratitude to the AMAA organizers for the recognition, as well as to his dedicated team for their efforts in making Jagun Jagun a cinematic masterpiece.
“Hey Guys, we’ve done it again!!! Delighted to announce Jagun Jagun clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA Awards nominee announcement yesterday,” Adebayo wrote in his post, adding his excitement and appreciation for the contributors in the nominated categories.
