The Hezbollah-affiliated Islamic Health Committee has reported that 11 paramedics were killed in southern Lebanon today due to Israeli airstrikes.

The escalating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has resulted in widespread devastation, leaving shelters for displaced people in Lebanon completely full, according to the United Nations.

As of Friday afternoon, Israeli authorities confirmed that Hezbollah had fired over 100 rockets into its territory, further intensifying hostilities in the region.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, made a rare public appearance, declaring that Iran’s recent attack on Israel was the “minimum punishment” in response to Israeli actions. His remarks have raised concerns about further escalation in the ongoing conflict.

Biden also suggested that Israel refrain from targeting Iran’s oil facilities in any potential retaliation.

In a related development, U.S. military forces conducted airstrikes on 15 targets controlled by Houthi rebels in Yemen on Friday, according to a statement from the U.S. military.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also reported that 250 Hezbollah fighters have been killed since the start of its ground incursion into southern Lebanon four days ago, marking a significant blow to the militant group. The conflict continues to escalate, with no immediate end in sight.
