President Bola Tinubu has celebrated his long-time ally, friend, and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, on his 68th birthday.
This milestone is extra special given their decades-long relationship, which has been a cornerstone of support throughout Tinubu’s journey as Senator, Governor of Lagos State, Presidential candidate, and now President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Tinubu in a statement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga on Saturday, said he cherished the memories of working closely with Alake over the past three decades, valuing his candid counsel and unwavering support that have provided invaluable guidance during challenging times in public office.
He attributed Alake’s enduring success to his exceptional qualities, such as honesty, passion, tact, determination, and outstanding public relations skills.
The President is confident that Alake would continue to uphold his high standards of excellence in service to the nation.
To mark this special occasion, Tinubu joined family, friends, and well-wishers in offering heartfelt prayers for Alake’s continued success and well-being.
This isn’t the first time Tinubu has celebrated Alake’s birthday with such warmth. Last year, on Alake’s 67th birthday, Tinubu praised his patriotism, unwavering dedication to service, and their four-decade-long close relationship.
