Social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has reignited the conversation surrounding the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, untimely demise.

Mohbad, who died under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023, was buried the next day.

Since then, multiple efforts by authorities, his family, and other concerned parties to uncover the truth have yielded little clarity.

The uncertainty surrounding the circumstances of his death has continued to raise questions in the public domain.

VDM, who had previously called for a DNA test, initially suggesting that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, might have information regarding his death, has now shifted his focus.

In a recent video, he alleged that the late singer’s former employer, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, have critical knowledge of what transpired on the day of Mohbad’s death but have remained silent.

“Mohbad did not get justice at the end of the day. The truth is that the main distraction was not DNA; the distraction was Naira Marley and Sam Larry. They know what happened to him. Up until now, nobody has brought proof that they killed him, but they know what happened,” VDM stated.

He also noted that while Mohbad was subjected to several forms of abuse by these individuals, only one incident was caught on camera and shared in a “cropped” video that circulated online.

According to him, the lack of justice for Mohbad remains a glaring issue, with many feeling that the full truth has yet to emerge.
